Behavior of a Mountain Chickadee

The Mountain Chickadee is a very small bird. It weighs 0.4 ounces or 11 g. Chickadees will busily store food for later when they find a ready supply, such as your backyard birdfeeder. They'll often fly off to stash it right away. Mountain Chickadees  incubate theire eggs almost a full week longer then their near cousin, the Black-Capped Chickadees do. Mountain Chickadees eat protein-rich insects and spiders during warm months, supplementing them with seeds and nuts and availble.

There once was a small bluebird. His mother tried to get him to leave the nest, for he was getting to  big.Though the little bluebird wanted to leave, he was terribly afraid of heights and could not fly away and begin a family of his own. One day, his mother and father told him that if he did not leave within a weeks time, that they would push him out of the nest and let him freeze through the winter. This scared the little bluebird, so all day and even all night he practiced learning how to fly. 'Soon' he thought, 'I will leave the nest and  fly south for the winter, and when i come back, i will start a family of my own. I will be the best bluebird ever!' But as the days went by, he wasn't making any much progress. He now had 1 day left, and he barely knew how to lift his wings! "We will have to push you out of the nest in 1 days time" his mother chirped. This only made the bluebird even more determined. "I will fly!" he declared. So he learned to fly, and was out of the nest, but he soon discovered that although many other birds flew south, he might not be able to make the trip now! In the winter, he now knew, that bluebirds stayed at home! He was relieved yet sad, for he had always wanted to travel. Anyway...he started a family of his home and lived through 5 winters after that. The end. (by the way, it's a true fact that eastern bluebirds don't migrate south)

Birds!

This is the the Blue bird! This is the Bird the whole project is about. They usually live in areas like Central america and the U.S. They generally eat insects and their larvae, but unlike most other birds they don't eat worms.                                                                                This is another bird the project is about. But in the House Wrens case, were getting rid of them. >:) They live in Central America and The U.S. like the Blue Birds, but they take over blue birds nest. They generally eat anything a normal bird does such as insects and worms.
